Jasbir Singh, a clean-shaven Sikh was asked to come out of the home in West Sagar, oppostive Janakpuri and near the Janak Cinema and attacked. The mob then chased his father, Joginder Singh, a carpenter by trade.  The mob took the clothes and cots and put them on both the father, Joginder Singh and his son, Jasbir Singh, poured kerosene oil on them. Both were still alive when they were burnt.1
